Quiz Guidelines:
1. From the list of commentary
series, choose one commentary series to analyze.
2. Follow the guidelines
under "Types of Commentaries" in
the Explanation of Commentaries page,
answering the five questions regarding
the selected commentary series.
The
sources of information for answering these questions are varied. The GWU
library will contain copies of many of these commentary series. Go to the
library and personally examine a copy. The publisher's explanation of the
series in the front cover may provide significant information. Tracking
down the series according to the publisher's internet URL will be a major
source of information. Some theological journals will contain review articles
on commentary series. GWU students should learn to use NC
Live through the Dover Library as a means of gaining access to the
full text articles of many of these journals.
Use
Commentary
Series page examples to gain insights into what I'm seeking. Some of
the listings are virtually completed and may serve as a guide.
