.......13ελθων δε ο ιησους εις τα μερη καισαρειας της φιλιππου ηρωτα τους μαθητας αυτου λεγων τινα λεγουσιν οι ανθρωποι ειναι τον υιον του ανθρωπου 14οι δε ειπαν οι μεν ιωαννην τον βαπτιστην αλλοι δε ηλιαν ετεροι δε ιερεμιαν η ενα των προφητων 15λεγει αυτοις υμεις δε τινα με λεγετε ειναι  16αποκριθεις δε σιμων πετρος ειπεν συ ει ο χριστος ο υιος του θεου του ζωντος  17αποκριθεις δε ο ιησους ειπεν αυτω μακαριος ει σιμων βαριωνα οτι σαρξ και αιμα ουκ απεκαλυψεν σοι αλλ ο πατηρ μου ο εν [τοις] ουρανοις  18καγω δε σοι λεγω οτι συ ει πετρος και επι ταυτη τη πετρα οικοδομησω μου την εκκλησιαν και πυλαι αδου ου κατισχυσουσιν αυτης  19δωσω σοι τας κλειδας της βασιλειας των ουρανων και ο εαν δησης επι της γης εσται δεδεμενον εν τοις ουρανοις και ο εαν λυσης επι της γης εσται λελυμενον εν τοις ουρανοις 20τοτε επετιμησεν τοις μαθηταις ινα μηδενι ειπωσιν οτι αυτος εστιν ο χριστος

.....13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, but others Elijah, and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, F112 the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, F113 and on this rock F114 I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." 20 Then he sternly ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was F115 the Messiah. F116

.....13 Als Jesus in die Gegend von Cäsarea Philippi kam, fragte er seine Jünger: »Für wen halten die Leute den Menschensohn?« 14 [a]Die Jünger erwiderten: »Einige meinen, du seist Johannes der Täufer. Andere halten dich für Elia, für Jeremia oder einen anderen Propheten.« 

15 »Und für wen haltet ihr mich?«, fragte er sie. 16 [b]Da antwortete Petrus: »Du bist Christus, der von Gott gesandte Retter, der Sohn des lebendigen Gottes!« 17 [c]»Du kannst wirklich glücklich sein, Simon, Sohn des Jona!«, sagte Jesus. »Diese Erkenntnis hat dir mein Vater im Himmel gegeben; von sich aus kommt ein Mensch nicht zu dieser Einsicht. 18 [d]Ich sage dir: Du bist Petrus[e]. Auf diesen Felsen will ich meine Gemeinde bauen, und selbst die Macht des Todes[f] wird sie nicht besiegen können. 19 [g]Ich will dir die Schlüssel zu Gottes neuer Welt geben. Was du auf der Erde binden wirst, das soll auch im Himmel gebunden sein. Und was du auf der Erde lösen wirst, das soll auch im Himmel gelöst sein.«

 20 [h]Darauf verbot er seinen Jüngern streng, den Leuten zu sagen, dass er der Christus sei.
