Autobiographical Profile
Tim Spencer 9/6/99:

Tim Spencer, age 31, has lived most all of his life in North Carolina.  Born in the common wealth of Virginia, February 20, 1968, Tim moved to NC in 1969.  Tim grew up in Greensboro where he graduated from Western Guilford High School.  He went on to complete a B.S. degree in Psychology at Appalachian State University.  He will complete his Master of Divinity at the M.C.W. School of Divinity in May, 2000.          Tim's spiritual journey has been active and varied.  He professed a faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of nine. This commitment faded and grew through the pain and difficulty of challenging teen age years.  At the age of twenty-one, he made an renewed, adult commitment, with new understanding.  Through many challenges he has grown and found healing through the power of God.          Tim comes from a family of three boys and is the middle son.  Both of his parents are still living, near Winston-Salem, NC.             He is married to Kathleen Spencer of Geneseo, NY, whom he met on a short term mission project in Brazil.  They have no children (yet.) They live in Winston-Salem, NC where he serves as Minister to Youth at Griffith Baptist Church.          Tim enjoys rock climbing, biking, running and almost any active sport.  He also enjoys golfing, reading, and is an avid movie fan. He would enjoy serving in International Missions, and is exploring God's call for him vocationally.
