1.    From the list of English translations at http://cranfordville.com/P-Trans-L.htm select three translations to study.
Make sure that you choose one representing the FE approach (=# 1 in the list) and that you choose one representing the DE approach (=# 3 in the list). The #2 represents a middle ground between FE and DE approaches.
2.    On the New Testament side of the translation, determine the following items: How can you find this information? Several sources: most importantly, examine a printed copy of the translation, paying special attention to the introductory sections. Use the internet links provided in the lecture note bibliography for topic 1.2. In the library check several books related to English Bible Translation and the History of the English Bible. The LCC code for this is BS455....  As of July 2003, the GWU library had at least eight volumes touching on this subject. Some help for a limited number of translations regarding the Greek text can be found at my Bible Translations: How They Handle the Original Language Texts at http://cranfordville.com/transTable.html page. Also, by typing in the name of your translation in the browser command field you can do an internet search for infomation about each translation. Most of the more recent translations have an internet homepage that supplies much of the above information.

Be sure to elaborate on the above questions. Don't just list in abbreviated, or listing format, your answer.
