This is the Bulletin Board for Religion 101 for the fall semester 2008,

Religion 101K will meet in Lindsey Hall room 214 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:25-11:40.

Religion 101M will meet in Lindsey Hall room 304 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:15- 2:30.

As a class member you will want to check this page often. Postings regarding class activities, the range of topics to be covered on weekly quizzes and exams, -- all these and more will be posted here at least weekly toward the end of each week.

By clicking on your section in the above box you will be able to immediately check the latest posting for your particular class. For other postings simply scroll down the page using the scroll bar on the right side of your screen, since the latest postings are at the top and the earliest are at the bottom.

Before the beginning of the semester you will want to surf through the Religion 101 Course Room sections in order to familiarize yourself with the various segments of the course. Begin by reading carefully the Syllabus section. Links to these pages are contained in the Your Choices ToC section on the left side of your screen.

Also helpful would be to complete the Online Student Profile form (Located under Home) before the first day of classes on August 21. Completion of this adds five bonus points to theGrade Participation section for the semester grade determination.

Additionally, you can submit a request for the assigned scripture passage online by going to the hyperlink in the Scripture Assignments page in the Paper section on the left side of your screen. This request can be sent in before the beginning of the semester. Requests are processed on a "first come, first served" basis and only one passage will be assigned to each student regardless of the class section. Some have already submitted their requests.

NOTICE: all assignments etc. must be turned in using a Microsoft Word document format (filename.doc or filename.docx). Files created using MS Works, Word Perfect, and Lotus files will not be accepted. MS Word is the official GWU software, and the only one supported by the university IS department. If you do not have Microsoft Word processing software, then you have two alternatives for free word processing software in order to complete the assignments. See the Course Syllabus for details.
