For the final exam requirement, you need to submit a revised copy of the interpretative assumptions that you did at the first of the semester. This needs to be turned in electronically (use Assignment Turn in inside the Online Forms) as an attached file by midnight Tuesday, May 9. Keep your original reflections in the same document; just add your revisions below in the same document. A part of the grading will be evaluative comparisons between the two.

We will not be meeting during the final exam week. The last class period of the semester will be Thursday, May 4.

Dr. Williams is putting together a trip to see the Dead Sea Scrolls on April 12th.  The cost is $16 for the ticket (which includes the 90 minute exhibit plus entry into Discovery Place).  Students can opt to carpool/drive themselves (parking is $5), or they can take a bus with other students and faculty ($12).  If there are not enough students who need transportation to warrant a bus, the cost will be less, as we will be able to use University transportation.  Money for the exhibit ticket is due by Wednesday March 8th, to either Sara Hartman (Religion Dept.) or Dr. Williams.  Check should be made out to Ron Williams.  Students should also indicate whether or not they will need transportation.  The bus will leave Gardner-Webb around 8 or 8:30 and return approx 3:30.

For the initial class on Thursday we will begin working on the interpretative background to the semon. Thus, IMPORTANT: each student needs to download, save in their My Documents folder, the complete the Lesson 01 assignment: -or-.  This is one of the "joys" of a class meeting on one time per week. Get used to it, since graduate school classes function this way normally.
