The following are explanations of reading and study instructions attached to each Lecture Notes page:

Sources to Consult:
       This section will list required reading in advance of a specified class period with the designated topic(s) will be discussed
        The Bibliography section will contain additional possible readings that may be assigned from time to time, especially online materials that are easily accessed.

Topic Number Range:
        These will list the specific topics from the list of Topics that will be covered by a given lecture. Check the Schedule page for the exact time the topic(s) in the lecture are scheduled to be discussed in class.
        For preparation, you should go over the materials discussed under each topic, along with having read the specified Sources to Consult listing. Come to class prepared to enter into class discussion in a meaningful manner from a basis of knowing the assigned materials.

Questions for Discussion:
       These will be interspersed in the Lecture Notes as a major basis for class discussion. Come to class prepared to answer and discuss the subjects covered by the questions.
 

Supplementary Bibliography

The Supplementary Bibliography is provided as a source of additional study that addresses the topics in more detailed fashion. This section is linked to the main bibliography page where more detailed listing etc. can be found. When doing more detailed class preparation or research for presentations, these materials are important sources of information.
