     22.1       And
                          in reply
(A)        Jesus again spoke
                          in parables
                          to them,
                          saying,
 (1) 22.2                       The Kingdom of Heaven is compared to a king
                                                                           who gave a marriage feast
                                                                                  for his son.
                                      And
 (2) 22.3                       he sent his servants
                                       to invite those who had been invited
                                                              to the marriage feast,
                                      and
 (3)                            they would not come.

     22.4                             Again
 (4)                            he sent other servants
                                       saying,
                                              Tell those who have been invited,
                                                                                    Behold
                                                                               I have prepared my meal,
                                                                               my bulls and fattened ones are killed
                                                                                    and
                                                                               everything is ready;
                                                                               come to the marriage feast.

     22.5                             And
 (5)                            the indifferent ones went away,
 (6)                            one (went away) to his farm,
 (7)                            another (went away) to his business;
      22.6                            but
                                             after having seized his servants
 (8)                            the rest mistreated
                                      and
 (9)                            --- ---- killed them.

      22.7                            And
(10)                            the king became angry,
                                      and
                                       having sent his troops
(11)                            he destroyed those murderers
                                      and
(12)                            -- burned down their city.

      22.8                            Then
(13)                            he said
                                       to his servants,
                                                       The marriage feast is ready,
                                                            but
                                                       the invited ones are not worthy;
      22.9                                                  therefore
                                                       go into the crossroads
                                                            and
                                                       whoever you find
                                                                        invite to the marriage feast.

      22.10                          And
                                                  having gone out
(14)                           those servants gathered together all they found
                                                  in the roads
                                                                  both evil
                                                                           and
                                                                       good;
                                     and
(15)                           the marriage feast was filled with guests.

      22.11                          And
                                            having entered to see the guests
(16)                           the king saw a man
                                           there
                                                 not wearing a wedding garment;
      22.12                          and
(17)                           he said
                                      to him,
                                                   Friend,
                                              how did you come into here
                                                             without a wedding garment?

                                     And
(18)                           he was silent.

     22.13                           Then
(19)                           the king said
                                            to the servants,
                                                               Having bound his feet and hands,
                                                            cast him out
                                                               into outer darkness;
                                                                     in that place
                                                            there will be weeping
                                                                               and
                                                                          gnashing of teeth.

      22.14                                                       For
                                                             many are called
                                                                  but
                                                             few are chosen.
