And Jesus said to them, "Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

2:19-20

19 kai; ei\pen aujtoi'" oJ ÅIhsou'", Mh; duvnantai oiJ uiJoi; tou' numfw'no" ejn w|/ oJ numfivo" metÅaujtw'n ejstin nhsteuvein; o&son crovnon e[cousin to;n numfivon metÅ aujtw'n ouj duvnantai nhsteuvein.
20 ejleuvsontai de; hJmevrai o&tan ajparqh'/ ajpÅ aujtw'n oJ numfivo", kai; tovte nhsteuvsousin ejn ejkeivnh/ th'/ hJmevra/.

19 And Jesus said to them, "Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.20 The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.

5:34-35

34 oJ de ;ÅIhsou'" ei\pen pro;" aujtouv", Mh; duvnasqe tou;" uiJou;" tou' numfw'no" ejn w|/ oJ numfivo" metÅ aujtw'n ejstin poih'sai nhsteu'sai
35 ejleuvsontai de; hJmevrai, kai; o&tan ajparqh'/ ajpÅ aujtw'n oJ numfivo", tovte nhsteuvsousin ejn ejkeivnai" tai'" hJmevrai".

34 And Jesus said to them, "Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? 35 The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days."
