          1The following is a parallel listing of the two major sources of ancient Israelite history found in the Old Testament. In the left column is the Deuteronomic account of that history, while in the right column is that of the Chronicler. Additional parallels, which sometimes may have been sources, are listed in columns either to the left or to the right side of the two basic histories. When used as a source, a hyperlink to the BST NRSV text will be inserted to enable quick referencing.
        The heading for each passage is taken from the New Revised Standard Version translation.
