Especially pray for the nearly 150,000 members of the appx. 440 Baptist churches scattered across Haiti during this time of tragedy. The churches in and around Port-au-Prince suffered the greatest loss of life and damage. We have already contributed to the relief efforts as a church through the aid sent through the Baptist World Alliance, the European Baptist Federation, and the Bund Evangelish-Freikirchlichen Gemeinden. Relief Teams of Baptist laymen from several countries are already in Haiti to assist in the relief efforts. |
