1.   Evaluate the fidelity of the following translations to the Greek text, as instructed.
 
 
Eph. 4:30
(A)  “And make not sorrowful the Holy Spirit of God, in which ye were sealed to a day of redemption.”
(B)  “Don’t cause the Holy Spirit sorrow by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who marks you to be present on that day when salvation from sin will be complete.”
(C)  “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, for that Spirit is the seal with which you were marked for the day of our final liberation.”
(D)  “And do not make God’s Holy Spirit sad; for the spirit is God’s mark of ownership on you, a guarantee that the Day will come when God will set you free.”
(E)  “You must stop offending the Holy Spirit of God by whom you have been stamped for the day of redemption.”
 
2.   Evaluate the understandability of the following translations by calculating the Fog Index level of each.
