The
Parables of Jesus Item #01
A study of the parables of Jesus in the Synoptic Gospels containing scripture text listings in parallel columns with both English and Greek texts, along with diagrams etc. revealing the internal literary structure of the scripture texts as a clue to interpretation. Also, study questions following a well defined interpretative process are included. The CD-ROM was released in June 2000. Biblical Koine Greek Item #02
The fourth edition of the Greek grammar contains massive expansions of materials, including practice exercises, basic vocabulary lists and written exercises in MS Word 7.0 (.doc) format for each lesson. Close to a thousand pages of materials are provided. Rearrangement of content enhance the learning experience, providing more opportunity for drills etc. With sixteen lessons, the grammar is designed to be used in either a two, three, or four semester program of study. From Lesson 2, morphology and syntax are combined in the learning experience making the process more natural. Emphasis is placed on learning to think conceptually, not just learning vocabulary and grammar rules. The objective is serious exegesis of the Greek text of the New Testament. The CD-ROM was released in the middle of August 2002. The files outside the index file are in the Adobe Acrobat PDF format, thus requiring the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe.com at http://www.Adobe.com. The current version, 5.0.5, is recommended. Version 4.5 is the minimal version for using the hyperlinks in these pdf files. The grammar diskette contains one of the latest versions of the Acrobat Reader for use in the Windows system operating environment. Adobe has free Mac, UNIX, and LINUX versions of the Reader at Adobe.com. To begin the DEMO VERSION, click on the picture to the left. Contained in the link are the introductory section, chapters 1 & 2 and 12 &13, along with appendices 2 through 9. This is provided as a sample of the full grammar in order to gain insights into the format and content of the grammar. The accessible files are copyrighted and may only be printed out for study and examination purposes. Go to the Preface for a listing of the additions to the fourth edition. Christopher White Men's Sunday School class at the First Baptist Church, Shelby, NC. These studies are in pdf file form and are located under the Matthew Bible study list. Biblical Insights Commentary: volume 21 Item #05 Volume 21 is a compilation of 385 pages of commentary and study on the First Letter of Peter in the New Testament. Two sets of twenty-two studies each of the text of First Peter are included on the CD. The first set was developed for the Friday evening Bible study group of the Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde in Bonn Germany, with a German flavor in the commentary. The second set was developed for the Serendipity Bible Class of the International Baptist Church in San José Costa Rica, with a Spanish flavor. Both sets were developed simultaneously during 2011. Something of the tone of the commentary is available through the pdf file containing the set of German oriented studies. But the CD contains much more materials, along with generous hyperlink options for additional study possibilities. The Biblical Insights Commentary is being developed at cranfordville as a reflection of the half a century plus of my study and teaching of the New Testament in numerous churches, Bible conferences, seminaries and universities both in North and South America, as well as in Europe.
